I had my suspicions because Miles looks like Tennouji from Steins;Gate...
I mean, he was the closest to Shu in a sense. Was on every scene. It is the first time for me, but I actually seen this one coming. Its usually the person you are closest to who ends up doing such stuff.
To be honest before this episode I didn't suspect him at all but this episode was basically screaming that he was the culprit.
yeah I didn't suspect him that much before this episode.. but during this ep.. it was obvious.
I always had a feeling it was miles the brown guy because after he left that room his walk looks suspicious and the way he's always chill feels odd
They could've hidden it better they didn't catch the other guy immediately I'm more surprised that that guy was the police chief
Fr 😂😂
My god I had the same feeling as if the entire steins gate episode rerolled in my mind
he got to close to solving the case but forgot he has no main character plot armor
he sounds like maes hughes from fma brotherhood
Almost some characters always that happens to them dying before telling the truth
DUDE I KNEW IT.
My reasoning:
Miles was alone with the guy, and I thought that it was something like FMA Hughes where Mikami would get too close to the truth and silenced. I thought that since Miles was always around him that he’s most likely the suspect.
I thought though that Miles was gonna kill him when they were alone in the Office right there in that scene where miles was talking with him before leaving.
There’s other reasons like just how involved Miles is with Shu’s past etc.
Edit: these suspicions of mine started stemming when you considering that
A: we know there’s a rat among people who has great knowledge of the situation
B: is most certainly a character we’ve seen on screen, at least to a good amount
C: is not heavily involved, but is involved. Heavily involved = Ayano (Shu’s ex)
Involved = the guy that does the auctions
I mean miles was a glaring red flag to me. He’s involved in all the crime scenes we see, he knows Shu really well but despite how related he is he doesn’t really do much besides talk with Mikami and be around with him. Man Mikami had a Hughes style death right there

Maybe like Tennouji he's trying to protect his daughter or maybe she died
He did said shu and his daughter were friends back then
Tennouji isn't a bad guy!
I didn’t say he was, but the fact remains that he had a secret agenda and was potentially an enemy depending on the timeline’s events.
Now that you mention it...
I had a weird vibe against him as well but I wasn't sure why until I saw your comment damn Tennouji.
I always knew it him from this episode because it's always the people that's close that is the culprit
Understandable.
ofc it's always the black guy
I swear though the resemblance is kinda eerie.
But I still feel sad for Mister Brawn and Nae.
I don't remember anyone named tenmouji in steins gate tho
It’s the bald shop owner who lives downstairs and whom Okabe is renting his lab from, also known as Mr. Braun.
Dang why they have to make it the light skin guy -_- well I saw it coming since I figured it out about the same time shu did
That's racist dog
i ain't tryna be racist nor implying the creator is, its just that for 3 diff watch/reads they used some black man. I just either found it peculiar or just some chance. Forgive me mah black homies.
I mean, it’s kinda racist that you yourself can come to that conclusion. It says a lot more about you than it does the creator. Like seeing a goblin or orc and instantly think that it’s a reference to a specific race and want to paint it in a bad light.
When I saw the “reveal” my first thought wasn’t his skin colour but how “a kind and gentle man with a daughter would murder someone” because from where I stand, I see him as a person before anything else.
One of the reasons why I hate the west with their “POC” term. That said, either you spent too much time on Twitter or you spend time with the wrong kind of people. That, and humans, regardless of skin colour or race, have the capabilities to do good and bad.
Tbh the first thing that instantly entered my mind was the fact that he was the one that custody of him and its just gone like that.
READ AT YOUR OWN RISK
I will not blame/bring up factors such as my avoidance of twitter, my non-western upbringing or the fact that i am still a minor. I also know that the damage is done and is up there already and has possibly offended some viewers. I just want to reiterate my apologies for using such a racial slur and will be more mindful of what i comment on in the future.
P.S.
i love open minded people like u
Whether that was creators' intent or not, anyone can be a villain.

Tbh he already raised the most serious death flag when he solved the case. It happend the same way in FMAB too. But it is still sad :')
This always happens when it finally clicks to them, may he rip though…
But it's completely harmless to have a little peek time to time ain't it? 😅
Mikami.....

Says the actual demon.
#ironic
When will someone approach me like Ayano? lol
Someday...
liar
I was lying, yes.

+ traditional gender role socialization mostly wears down pursuant females (along with many other societal drawbacks).
Then you might want to learn it from Dio.
You have to be like Dio, approach them slowly. VERY slowly.
Hypocrisy x100 lol.
Clearly there is a lack of mirror in the house :D
